How it’s made…
From our first pattern drawn back in 2011 over the years our designs have evolved to create the Little Loomer doll that is here today. We have now added Several animal dolls to our original rabbit doll family but the pattern remains largely the same to our very first doll. When making our dolls we source the best possible materials. There bodies are made from 100% cotton and are stuffed with a certified soft fibre toy stuffing. We use design brands such as Dashwood Studios and Robert Kaufman for there cotton dresses.
They are all machine stitched and quadruple stitched along the seams to make sure they are durable and can withstand much playing. There faces are hand embroidered each with there distinctive starry eyes and cute smiles. All dresses are stitched on to the doll and cannot be taken off. They contain no removable small parts and would make the perfect first doll for your little ones.
We use 100% cotton material for our dolls which has been chemically and flammability tested to the current EN71-3 toy safety regulations. There dresses and dungarees are from Dashwood studios and Robert Kaufman and are ordered by the bolt meaning we only have a limited edition of each design. When choosing our fabrics we love to use bright and colourful prints designed by amazing designers, we love to encourage imaginative play through happy and playful fabrics. There bodies are made using a variety shades from the Robert Kaufman Kona cotton solids.
All our dolls are stuffed with a recycled toy polyester fibre filling. They are given a firm stuff and are lightweight.
All our dolls can be washed on a 30 cycle. If there ears and dresses get creased on there adventures just give them a gentle press with a hot iron.
